A collage of my Kids pictures

I found this new interesting site thanks to Vikram.  Turns out you can create comic strips using this software, Comic Life2 from Plasq.   Here is the collage I created using some old pictures of Vikram and Maya.  Nice, is it not? 

Our trip to the Turkey Run State Park

This last weekend we went to the Turkey Run park. Takes about an hour and a half to get there from Champaign, IL. We did not want to stay at the park, though in retrospect I feel may be it was a good thing to have done. Hopefully there will be more chances to do that. So we went and took a look at where we would stay the next time we went there.

There are some 11 trails there. We managed to do 6, 7 and 1, I believe... that comes to just about 5.2 miles and it felt much longer. To me, that is! Anyway that is just because I am rather out of condition (though I fully intend to repair that!). My daughter who is soon to turn 6 walked like a goat with nary a complaint and I thought she did a great job! There is this tiny waterfall she had to go through and she needed a bit of hand holding through that and that was it!

We are planning to go there and stay in the cabins or the inn. Pity the website does not provide pictures of the cabins. We were not allowed to peak inside either. They are twin cabins. We should stay overnight and start on a trek of the trails and come back for nice leisurely lunch and go back for a stroll in the evening for a nap.


This weekend it was kinda light and we walked through the light rain. May be it was good because we did not get too hot trekking. But the next time we go we want to go when it is bright and kinda warm, and not too warm.
